DETROIT PISTONS UNVEIL RETAIL COLLABORATION WITH TODD PATRICK

DETROIT – Nov. 16, 2023 – The Detroit Pistons announced today a 6-piece retail collaboration with Michigan-native and designer Desyree Nicole, the creative director behind the luxury menswear brand Todd Patrick. The collection will be available for purchase exclusively on Saturday, Dec. 2 beginning at 1 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena as a part of an experiential pop-up shop and photo opportunity on the concourse. The collection features inspiration from the city, and the mentality that has been ingrained into the culture of Michigan. Those that tie Todd Patrick’s fusion of uniqueness and stepping outside of the box with the iconic pillars of Detroit Pistons history. The apparel line includes two t-shirts, a hoodie, a workman jacket, a pair of athletic pants and athletic shorts all with the patented relaxed silhouettes merged with texture combinations Todd Patrick is known for. While still maintaining the luxury design, quality and feel of traditional Todd Patrick items, the products have been placed at a price point that is more accessible for fans, ranging from $50-$150. “The Detroit Pistons retail collaboration with Desyree Nicole of Todd Patrick, a Black female designer with Michigan roots, furthers our commitment to representing community, court and culture and in this case, creativity,” Bilal Saeed, Vice President of Brand & Marketing Strategy said. A former Eastern Michigan Women’s basketball player and Oakland County native, Desyree Nicole began cultivating her brand Todd Patrick in 2019. With self-taught design expertise, Desyree Nicole has not only become a recognizable figure but has refined a unique style that has garnered recognition not only among the fashion pundits of New York, but also from streetwise fans as far away as Europe, South Africa, Japan, Korea, and the UK. Her work has been worn by notable names in all industries including Kevin Hart, Michael B. Jordan, Dave East, Big Sean and more.
