DETROIT PISTONS SIGN ALONDES WILLIAMS TO A TWO-WAY CONTRACT

DETROIT, Mich. (Oct. 22, 2024) – The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has signed guard Alondes Williams to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. 

Williams, 6-4, 210, played in seven games with the Miami HEAT last season and in one game with the Brooklyn Nets during the 2022-23 season. He’s also seen action in 78 career NBA G League games, averaging 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, including 20.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.0 assists in 43 games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the NBA G League affiliate of the Miami HEAT, last season. 

A native of Milwaukee, Williams played his final collegiate season for Wake Forest and averaged 18.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game during the 2021-22 season while being named 2022 ACC Player of the Year and First-Team All-ACC. Prior to his time with the Deamon Deacons, Williams played two seasons at Oklahoma and averaged 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 55 career games for the Sooners.
