Coral Springs to Host International Dinner Dance

The City of Coral Springs is looking forward to resuming its popular International Dinner Dance on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the Coral Springs Marriott at Heron Bay. The event, which was cancelled last year due to COVID-19, is sponsored by various local businesses, and hosted by the Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee.

The purpose of the event is to highlight a different country each year, allowing guests to travel the world without leaving Coral Springs. This year the ‘international’ theme has gone ‘national’ as the country we will celebrate is the United States of America! After going through so much during the pandemic, city and community leaders are looking forward to bringing people together to celebrate the nation’s resilience, strength, hope, and unity.

Multi-Cultural Committee Liaison and City Commissioner Joy Carter, said, “This event is meant to show our city’s support of different cultures and embrace diversity. Our selected country, USA, is a nation built on the contributions of immigrants. As citizens, we are so fortunate to live in a country filled with different cultures, traditions, and backgrounds, but is united by our freedom. I look forward to once again celebrating with residents and committee members.”

The $65 purchase price for tickets include a variety of hors d’oeuvres, an authentic American buffet, complimentary dinner wine, a live show, and the opportunity to dance the night away.
