Coral Springs Commission approves several items during June 15 meeting

The Coral Springs Commission approved several items during the June 15 meeting. It approved several changes to the land development code to accommodate the construction of warehouses in the Industrial, Research and Developing (IRD) Zoning District. It is located at the southwest corner of NW 39th Street and NW 120 Avenue described as Parcel 0, Greater Coral Springs Research and Development Park.  There will be 424 parking spaces.

The Commission agreed to award a contract for Data Management Software System to Initium Softworks of Lake Mary, Florida. It approved a cost increase for maintenance and software upgrades in the estimated annual expenditure of $52,175.

The Commission awarded a contract for the Water Supply Well Rehabilitation to Aquifer Maintenance and Performance Systems of West Palm Beach from July 31 2022 through July 30, 2024 with the option to renew for two additional two-year renewals. The annual expenditure is $243,708.

It entered into an agreement with the School Board of Broward County to provide School Resource Officers (SROs) during the summer of 2022.

The Commission renewed the Charter School Management Agreement with Charter Schools USA.
