Coral Springs to host Slice of Springs

On Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 7 p.m., the City of Coral Springs will host its community meeting ‘Slice of Springs,’ in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. Residents are invited to attend or join us live on Facebook or YouTube.
Coral Springs City Manager Frank Babinec said, “Providing a platform for our residents to raise their voices and be heard is a priority for us in Coral Springs. Direct, two-way communication with residents and businesses is beneficial to building and maintaining a thriving community. Slice of Springs offers participants the opportunity to engage with city staff, ask questions and learn more about upcoming projects and initiatives.”
Representatives from all city departments will be present before and after meeting to meet with residents. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Licensing event at Coral Springs City Hall

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) has partnered with the City of Coral Springs to provide the Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW) mobile unit at City Hall, (9500 W. Sample Road), on Friday, July 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
State Representative Dan Daley secured the partnership on behalf of the city. Of the partnership, Mayor Scott Brook said, “The pandemic taught us many lessons – now more than ever, it is important for local government to offer convenient solutions for our constituents that save time and money. Offering access to the FLOW in the heart of Coral Springs at City Hall is a benefit to our residents. I appreciate Representative Daley for coordinating with FLHSMV.”
Services provided by the FLOW include:
- Change from out of state driver license to Florida License
- Renewals
- Duplicates for lost or stolen license
- Address/name changes
- ID Cards
- Reinstatements
- Emergency Contact Information Registration
- Vehicle Registration Renewals/Replacements
- Disabled Parking Placard Issuance and Renewals
