Construction set to begin on Splash Pad in Coral Springs

Construction on the Betti Stradling Park Splash Pad in Coral Springs is scheduled to begin the week of February 21 and be completed by the end of May.

This will be the first splash pad installed within a city park that will be free of charge. There is currently a splash pad within Cypress Park Pool that requires an admission fee.  Betti Stradling Park already has a large playground, pavilion, ball fields, and will now have a splash pad. The goal of the Splash Pad is to give residents a whimsical, delightful place where they can spend quality family time and cool off on a hot summer day within Coral Springs City limits.

The Splash Pad features a custom-painted city sun and cloud design, rain cloud domes, colorful sprayers, water curtains and rings, a large dump bucket and palm trees. The pad will also be open on warm evenings and will have colorful accent lighting.
