**UTSA has been nearly perfect in the red zone this season. The Roadrunners have reached the opponent’s 20-yard line 20 times through the first four contests and they have scored on 19 of those trips with 11 touchdowns and eight field goals.  The only unsuccessful visit to the red zone occurred in the first half of the UAB contest when UTSA did not convert on four tries following a first-and-goal opportunity from the 2-yard line.

**Freshman RB Frank Gore Jr., registered his career-high of 130 rushing yards on 23 carries in the win at North Texas. It was his first career 100-yard game rushing and his rushing yards marked the most by a Golden Eagle since Trivenskey Mosley posted 142 against UTSA on Oct. 20, 2018.  His 130 yards helped Southern Miss record a total of 202 rush yards and 437 total yards, which were both the team’s most since having Nov. 16, 2019 at UTSA.  Gore, Jr. averaged 5.7 yards per carry in the contest and recorded the first career rushing touchdown of his career from 11 yards.

**In UTEP’s win at Louisiana-Monroe, Jacob Cowing (102 yards) and Justin Garrett (120 yards) gave the Miners two receivers with 100 yards in the same game for the first time since Nov. 24, 2012 versus Rice, when Jordan Leslie compiled 168 yards and Michael Edwards added 121.
**Freshman RB Deion Hankins has rushed for five touchdowns in the first three games.  In the win at ULM, Hankins became the first UTEP freshman to score three rushing TD’s in a game since John Harvey at Colorado State on Sept. 14, 1985.  He also tied the school record for single-game rushing touchdowns by a freshman.  Hankins has gone over 100 yards twice in three games, becoming the first UTEP freshman with multiple 100-yard rushing games in a season since Aaron Jones had three in 2016.

**Graduate student QB Luke Anthony threw two touchdown passes in the loss at No. 22 and has 10 in his first three games at Louisiana Tech.  That ties him for second among all FBS players, trailing only Sam Ehlinger of Texas, who has 14 TD passes this season.  Anthony’s pass efficiency rating of 169.1 leads all C-USA quarterbacks that have played at least one game.
