Florida Atlantic is 2-0 all-time against the Islanders, capturing a 5-0 sweep in the last meeting between the two teams on March 3, 2023. The Islanders enter this weekend at 23-4 in their second week being ranked in program history and are currently riding a 12-match winning streak.Florida Atlantic will then take on No. 10 LMU with a 2:45 p.m. scheduled first serve to close out Friday play. The Sandy Owls will look for their first win against LMU, as the Lions hold a 3-0 all-time series lead. Florida Atlantic dropped a pair of contests last season against LMU, falling 5-0 on March 11 and 3-2 on April 7. LMU is 17-8 overall this season and carries an eight-match winning streak into this weekend’s tournament. The Sandy Owls will open play on Saturday at 8 a.m. against North Alabama. Florida Atlantic holds a perfect 2-0 record all-time against North Alabama, including a 4-1 win in their last meeting on March 24, 2023. North Alabama currently sits at 14-5, winning two of their last three. Florida Atlantic will close out the weekend at 12:30 p.m. against North Florida. The Sandy Owls lead the all-time series against the Ospreys, 9-7. Florida Atlantic enters this weekend with a three-match winning streak against North Florida, including a 4-1 win in their last meeting on Feb. 25, 2023. North Florida enters this weekend’s matchups at 15-7 overall and are currently on a six-match winning streak.
