Mayes Buzelis had 20 off the bench as well. Nikola Vučević contributed a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bulls pulled away in the third quarter with a 36-22 run, capitalizing on Brooklyn’s 10 turnovers. “We played with great energy and ball movement,” said Vučević. For the Nets, Dariq Whitehead scored 18 points, one of six Nets in double figures but they struggled defensively in the second half.
