8/21/2024 | Football BOCA RATON, Fla. – “Buggs” Kahzir Brown, a senior Florida Atlantic defensive back from Trenton, New Jersey, has been named to the 12th Annual Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List, announced on Wednesday. Brown came to Florida Atlantic in January of 2024 after completing his degree at Maine. He led the Bears with 61 tackles, including 5.5 for a loss of 32 yards in 2023, and added one interception, seven pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. After joining the Owls intending to better his game, this honor signifies professional scouts’ faith in his journey. SENIOR BOWL The Reese’s Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 75 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams and over 1100 media members from around the country, were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL draft.
