Baseball – NSU Drops SSC Contest to Lions

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Baseball team continued their Sunshine State Conference series against the Saint Leo Lions on Saturday afternoon. NSU was defeated 6-1, dropping the SSC series to the Lions.

How it Happened

For the second consecutive game, the Sharks got on the scoreboard early, as an RBI double from Jorge Braceras gave NSU a 1-0 lead in the second inning. 
Saint Leo responded with a pair of runs in both the bottom of the second and third innings, taking a 4-1 lead over Nova Southeastern. 
The Lions added runs in both the fourth and eighth innings, taking a 6-1 lead and winning the second game of the three game set.
