7/16/2024 | Baseball BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following the conclusion of the 2024 MLB Amateur Draft, Florida Atlantic senior pitcher Danny Trehey has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Astros. In his second year in south Florida, Trehey appeared in 26 games this past season, establishing himself as the Owls’ top weapon out of the bullpen. The product of Kansas City, Kan. totaled a 1.83 ERA with 66 strikeouts in 44.1 innings.
