BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball (3-0) will host Miami (3-0) for the first time this season on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. inside the FAU Baseball Stadium. Both teams are fresh off opening weekend sweeps. The South Florida rivals will also meet on March 18 (in Boca Raton) and April 15 (in Coral Gables).

Prior to Tuesday’s game, former Owl and current St. Louis Cardinals catcher Pedro Pagés will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Pagés was a three-year starter for the Owls from 2017-19 before being selected by the Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2019 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut on April 7, 2024, and logged his first career hit – a bases-loaded 3-RBI double – on May 14. Pagés is currently in spring training with the Cardinals and is expected to play a prominent role in the 2025 season.
