Another Monday, Another Lynn Volleyball Player of the Week Honor

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Over the weekend, Lynn volleyball accomplished a pair of programs firsts. In a win over Eckerd, they set a new record for longest winning streak and in a sweep of Florida Southern, they won the programs first-ever Sunshine State Conference Title. None of that would have been possible with the play of Sonja Udovcic and she was honored by the SSC as its offensive player of the week.

Against the Tritons, she had 10 kills and hit .400 in the three-set victory. For good measure, she added 14 digs. In the conference clinching win over the Mocs, she upped her attack with 16 kills in just three sets and hit .412. She missed another double-double by just one dig.

For the weekend she had 26 kills and hit .406 in just six sets.

This is the fourth-straight week Lynn has had at least one player honored by the conference. Udovcic is the fourth different Fighting Knight to win POW honors this season.

Lynn will look to claim the conference title outright when they face Embry-Riddle on Thursday.
