  • Navy, with a 42-32 win over Florida Atlantic, has the nation’s second-longest active winning streak at 10 games. The Midshipmen trail only Ohio State, which won its 11th straight last week and was off this week. The 10 consecutive wins matches the Navy program record.
  • Navy will enter Week 10 as one of potentially six unbeaten teams in FBS (Ohio State, BYU, Georgia Tech, Indiana – Texas A&M in progress).
  • Navy is 7-0 to start a season for the fifth time in program history (1926, 1934, 1960, 1978).
  • North Texas QB Drew Mestemaker broke the American Conference and Mean Green record for most passing yards in a game with 608 yards in a 54-20 win at Charlotte on Friday night. The top-5:

  • Memphis defeated No. 18 South Florida, 34-31, in comeback fashion in Memphis. It was the Tigers’ first ranked home win since defeating No. 23 SMU in 2021.
  • Memphis scored at least 20 points for the 48th consecutive game, the nation’s longest active streak.
  • Temple has committed only one turnover in eight games this season.
