FLORIDA ATLANTIC SUFFOCATES STETSON

GRIGGS BREAKS MEMPHIS THREE POINT RECORD

5th Year Memphis guard Madison Griggs broke the all-time three-point record at Memphis for men and women, set by Rodney Carney in 2006 in Monday’s game against Middle Tennessee. She has 290 in her career, which is 4th all-time in The American for women’s basketball, and just three away from moving into third place.

20 POINT PLAYERS

Through four games this season, there are four players in The American that are averaging over 20 points per game – SMU’s Tiara Young (22.8), FAU’s Aniya Hubbard (22.5), and Tulsa teammates Delanie Crawford (22) and Temira Poindexter (21.3).
