ROADRUNNERS STAND ALONE

Eight games into conference play and the UTSA Roadrunners stand alone in first place as the final undefeated team in conference action at 8-0. They are also riding a 10 game winning streak – the 8th longest in the country.

UTSA, SOUTH FLORIDA FACE OFF

It will be a battle of first against third place as UTSA travels to South Florida to take on the Bulls on Wednesday night. The game will feature the two highest ranked NET teams in The American with South Florida ranked 67 and UTSA ranked 72. The Bulls are 10-2 at home, while the Roadrunners are 7-2 on the road. It will be the only time the two teams face off during the regular season. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

UAB CARDIAC KIDS

Winners of four of their last five games, the UAB Blazers have had three of those games come down to the wire. A buzzer beater lifted UAB past South Florida (Jan. 14), while the Blazers used overtime to defeated Rice (Jan. 22) and Wichita State (Jan. 25) in the past two games. UAB will travel to Tulane on Saturday, Feb. 1 to take on the Green Wave at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

OWLS TRAVEL TO DENTON

Temple and North Texas will face off on Wednesday as the second place Mean Green will host the third place Owls. North Texas has won four straight and are 10-1 at home.

AMERICAN IN THE NET

Two teams rank in the top 100 of the NCAA NET rankings. South Florida leads the way at 67, while UTSA is just behind at 72. Temple sits just outside the top 100 at 101.
