Charlotte Rises to 19th in Poll
A week after receiving votes, the Charlotte 49ers have catapulted up to No. 19 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll after an impressive 2-0 week, defeating Furman and Lipscomb.
49ers Remain Undefeated
The Charlotte 49ers enter this week without a loss. Following a 2-2 draw against 7th-ranked Syracuse, the 49ers have rattled off back-to-back wins, defeating Furman and Lipscomb along the way. Charlotte will travel to Greensboro to take on UNCG on Friday at 7 p.m. (ET).
Ranked Opponents This Weekend
FIU and South Florida will both take on a UCF squad that is ranked -/23 this week. The Panthers will host the Knights on Wednesday, while the Bull will travel to Orlando on Sunday for the War on I-4.
Final Weekend of Non-Conference Play
Teams around the league will play their final non-conference weekend games this weekend as American Athletic Conference play will begin next weekend beginning on Friday, September 20th with two matches – FIU at South Florida and Memphis at Tulsa.
