The Charlotte 49ers have been unbeatable at home, winning their last 11 home matches – the longest streak in the nation. The last home loss for Charlotte came on September 9, 2023 against UNCG. During that stretch, the 49ers have outscored opponents 28-3 at home, including seven shutouts.

Battle of the Undefeated

Saturday will feature the two remaining undefeated teams in conference play in The American as Charlotte travels to Memphis to take on the Tigers at 8 p.m. ET. The Tigers are riding a three-match winning streak, outscoring opponents 5-1 in the span.

Stifling Tigers Defense

The Memphis Tigers defense has been stout over the past five games. Four of the games resulted in wins, while the other was a tie. The Tigers have not allowed more than one goal in five straight games, dating back to September 8.

49ers Move Up in Rankings

With a 6-0-3 record on the season, the Charlotte 49ers continue to move up the rankings, this time jumping nine spots in the Top Drawer Soccer poll to No. 11.  Charlotte remains ranked No. 9 in the United Soccer Coaches poll.

Three American teams ranking in the Top 70 in the nation. Charlotte leads the pack at No. 8, followed by UAB at No. 53 and FIU at No. 66.
