Navy’s 38-0 win against Wagner marked the first shutout for the Midshipmen since a 34-0 decision against Army Dec. 6, 2008. It was Navy’s first shutout in Annapolis since a 7-0 win against Lafayette Oct. 15, 1994.
South Florida’s 38-24 win against Florida A&M snapped the Bulls’ 11-game losing streak and ended the Rattlers’ 10-game winning streak.
Charlotte’s defense held its opponents without a touchdown for the first six quarters and first 18 possessions of the 2023 season. The 49ers defense scored a touchdown before it allowed one.
Tulane’s loss to No. 20 Ole Miss snapped a streak of three consecutive wins against top-25 teams for the Green Wave. Tulane was without starting QB Michael Pratt and LB Corey Platt, the Green Wave’s leading tackler.
