  • The American Athletic Conference and Big Ten are the only two FBS conferences with three eight-win teams prior to Saturday’s night games (Army, Tulane, Memphis). The ACC could have three eight-win teams if Pitt defeats Virginia tonight, while the SEC could have three if Tennessee beats Mississippi State.
  • Army extended its best-in-the-nation winning streak to 13 games with Saturday’s 14-3 win at North Texas.
  • Army is one of four unbeaten teams nationally prior to Saturday’s night games, along with Indiana, BYU and Oregon. Oregon is facing Maryland, while BYU faces Utah tonight.
