Army finished as the only 8-0 team in American Athletic Conference play, sending the 2024 American Football Championship Game to Michie Stadium Friday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. ET. The game will be televised nationally on ABC with a national radio broadcast on ESPN Radio.
- Army is the eighth team to finish 8-0 in American Athletic Conference play, joining UCF in 2013, 2017 and 2018; Cincinnati and Houston in 2021; and Tulane and SMU in 2023.
- Army, which was ranked No. 25 in the AP poll and No. 22 in the coaches’ poll, has been nationally ranked for seven consecutive weeks, the Black Knights’ longest streak since 1958.

- Army QB Bryson Daily tied The American’s single-season record with his 24th and 25th rushing touchdowns Saturday. Daily ties the conference mark set by former Navy QB Will Worth in 2016.
- Memphis QB Seth Henigan became The American’s career passing leader with his 218-yard, two-touchdown performance against No. 18 Tulane. Henigan finished the game with 13,972 career yards, passing former East Carolina QB Holton Ahlers (13,927) for the all-time mark.
- Memphis ended Tulane’s 17-game winning streak in American Athletic Conference regular-season games, which matched the longest streak in conference history and was the longest active streak among FBS programs.
- Memphis improved to 10-2 with the win against Tulane as the Tigers registered back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in program history.
- Memphis has scored at least 20 points in 39 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the nation.
- North Texas gained bowl eligibility for the first time since 2022 with its 24-17 win at Temple Saturday. All 41 points in the game were scored in the first half.
