American Athletes Wrap Up Final Day of NCAA Track & Field Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – A trio of American athletes competed in the final day of the 2024 NCAA Track & Field Championships on the campus of the University of Oregon.

Wichita State’s Destiny Masters competed in two events – heptathlon and high jump, earning Second Team All-America honors in both events. She finished in 13th place in the Heptathlon, scoring 5,691 points, while finishing 15th place in high jump, clearing a mark of 1.77 meters.

Rice’s Eliza Kraule joined Masters in the heptathlon, finishing in 20th place for Honorable Mention All-America honors.  She finished the multi-event with 5,529 points.

Teammate Alice Taylor earned Second Team All-America honors in high jump, clearing 1.87 meters for a 9th place finish.

Over the course of the four day championship, a combine nine American Athletic Conference athletes earned First Team All-America honors, including three medal winners.
