American Athletes head to 2024 NCAA Track & Field Regional Preliminary Sites

WEST PRELIMINARY LIVE RESULTS | EAST PREMILINARY LIVE RESULTS

IRVING, Texas – The preliminary round of the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships is set to begin on May 22 at a pair of campus sites. The NCAA East Regional will be held at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Facility in Lexington, Kentucky. The NCAA West Regional will be contested at John McDonnell Field on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The East Regional at Kentucky begins on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (ET) with flights in the men’s hammer throw. The East Regional meet will feature student-athletes from UAB (1 individual), Charlotte (23), East Carolina (6), Memphis (11), South Florida (31), Temple (3) and Tulane (2).

The West Regional at Arkansas opens at 10 a.m. (ET) with the men’s hammer throw. Student-athletes from North Texas (12 individuals) , Rice (17), SMU (3), UTSA (18), Tulsa (8) and Wichita State (9) will compete in the meet.

Qualifiers from the regional prelims will advance to the national portion of the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon on June 5-8.
