October 9, 2019 Staff Report IMSA Wire Service BRASELTON, Ga. – As sports car fans descend on Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this week for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale, ADT will be right alongside them. The No. 1 smart-home security company brings its “Gallery of Valuables by ADT” campaign to the Motul Petit Le Mans, which first rolled out at Grand Central Terminal in New York City last month, displaying items from celebrities and cultural icons in a museum-like setting for travelers to peruse. This weekend, the “Gallery of Valuables by ADT” – located in the Fan Zone – features a collection of racing artifacts that will be on display for fans to see throughout the weekend. Some examples include the Bishop France Trophy presented to the WeatherTech Championship class winners each season; the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup; the Certificate Designating Place of Business, registering IMSA to do business under its moniker in the state of Florida; Chip Robinson’s helmet firesuit from 1990; Ricky Taylor’s 2009 helmet visor, among others. CORE autosport’s winning trophy from the 2014 Rolex 24 At Daytona Prototype Challenge class will also be on display at the Gallery. ADT and CORE autosport announced a partnership in May of this year for the No. 54 Nissan DPi and drivers Jon Bennett and Colin Braun will visit the display to meet with fans and talk with media on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. “At the start of everything that we do, ADT asks the question, ‘What do you want to protect?’” said Shannon Hendrickson, Senior Director of Marketing, ADT. “It’s a central component of our brand, because whatever it is you want to protect, no one has more ways to keep it all safe than ADT. “Everyone’s answers and ideas about what’s valuable are different, so we’ve created an activation series called “Gallery of Valuables by ADT” to showcase and celebrate noteworthy valuables. Today, ADT is proud to share the IMSA-inspired Gallery of Valuables by ADT with fans and race attendees. Everybody has valuables they want to protect, and IMSA’s list is impressive, inspiring and legendary.” Television coverage of the 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans begins on the NBC Network at noon ET Saturday, Oct. 12.
