IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference announced its women’s basketball schedule pairings for the 2023-24 season on Thursday.
For the Owls’ inaugural season, the team will compete in an 18-game conference schedule against the league’s other 13 members. Each team will play five of its 13 opponents twice, and four opponents once each, four at home and four away.
In the single-game pairings for this season, Florida Atlantic hosts East Carolina, Rice, Tulane, and Tulsa, and will visit Memphis, SMU, South Florida, and Temple. The Owls play UAB, Charlotte, North Texas, UTSA, and Wichita State twice, both at home and on the road.
The 2024 American Athletic Conference Championship is hosted at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. For the fourth consecutive year, the women’s and men’s tournaments will be held at the Fort Worth venue, with the women’s championship slated to be held March 9-13.
The complete 2023-24 women’s basketball regular season schedule with dates and times will be announced in the fall.
