LAKELAND, Fla. – Lynn University’s men’s golf team opened its 2020 campaign at Lone Palm Golf Club, participating in the Matlock Invitational’s final round on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· Agustin Errazuriz finished tied-fifth with a final-round 71 (-1).
· Carlos Bustos carded a third-round 74 (+2), finishing tied-11th.
· Giovanni Manzoni shot an even-par 72 to secure a tie for 17th.
· Toto Gana rebounded with a 68 (-4) in the final round.
· Lynn (878) tied with West Florida for fourth-place, behind Columbus State (858), Florida Tech (875) and Florida Southern (877).
BEYOND THE SCORECARD:
· Lynn finished second in par-four scoring average (4.10) and fourth in par-three scoring average (3.37).
· The Blue and White led the field with 172 pars.
· Errazuriz was second-individually with a 3.93 par-four average.
· Jorge Villar carded one of eight eagles in the tournament.
