BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University’s softball team earned its second-consecutive sweep on Saturday, defeating Georgian Court University, 4-0 and 7-3, respectively, in a home doubleheader.

o Shayle Arenson was 2-for-2 with two RBI.
o Olivia Pope had an RBI double in the third.
o Natalie Costero went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in the sixth.
o Kayla Sheffield (2-0) earned the win, throwing a complete game 7.0 innings, surrendering just five hits.
· Game 2
o Pope was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the leadoff spot.
o Arenson had a bunt single and RBI in the second, scoring two runs and adding a walk in four plate appearances.
o Grasy Gomez had two hits in three at-bats and a team-high three RBI.
o Allyson Jameston pitched a complete game 7.0 innings, giving up just three runs, two earned, while striking out four.
