The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department is making waves with Waterworks, a free, family-friendly event for the community.
People are encouraged to come in swimsuits, use sunscreen, and have sense of adventure. The event will take place on Saturday, May 16th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mitchell/Moore Park as the park transforms into an epic pop-up water park for one exciting day only.
Cool off on giant water slides, dive into interactive water games, and dance along to energetic tunes from a live DJ spinning all afternoon long. Children can enjoy a special toddler zone designed just for younger children, making this event perfect for the whole family. Plus, a variety of food vendors will be on-site serving up delicious eats and treats to keep everyone fueled for the fun.
