The three Gators are now part of the 36-member athlete pool in consideration for the 2026 US Women’s National Team.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Amanda Lorenz, Skylar Wallace and Jocelyn Erickson were selected by the Women’s National Team Selection Committee (WNTSC) for the 36-member U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) Athlete Pool, USA Softball announced on Thursday afternoon.
Lorenz, Wallace and Erickson will each be in consideration for the 2026 USA Softball Women’s National Team, which will compete at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup Group Stage event as well as the 2026 USA Softball International Cup.
This 36-member athlete pool will also serve as the foundation for the 2025-28 Olympic quadrennial cycle.
Lorenz and Wallace most recently won gold with Team USA at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China in August of 2025.
Florida graduate manager Erin Coffel was also selected for the U.S. Women’s National Team Athlete Pool.
