MEAN GREEN STAND ALONE
Three teams entered last weekend unbeaten in conference play, but that’s no longer the case. North Texas Mean Green now stands alone atop the American standings after a statement weekend.
The Mean Green handed UTSA Roadrunners their first two conference losses, improving to 8-1 on the season. Meanwhile, South Florida Bulls dropped a pair of games to Tulsa Golden Hurricane, falling into a tie for second place with UTSA at 7-2 in league play.

Tulsa Golden Hurricane entered last weekend still searching for its first conference win but quickly flipped the script with a pair of victories over the then-unbeaten South Florida Bulls.
Graduate pitcher Maura Moore was magnificent in the circle, earning both wins while posting a 0.58 ERA across 12.0 innings of work to lead Tulsa’s breakthrough weekend.
LORD DELIVERS IN THE CLUTCH
Charlotte 49ers got a timely swing from Jenna Lord in game one against UAB Blazers.
The 2025 American Conference Player of the Year delivered the difference in the sixth inning, launching a two-run home run to lift the 49ers to a 3-1 victory in last Friday’s game.

Half of the American Conference is ranked int the top 70 in the RPI with South Florida leading the way at 41. Charlotte is next at 51, followed by Florida Atlantic (54), Wichita State (61) and East Carolina (68).
