BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic’s “Inside the Owls’ Burrow” recently featured rising sophomore Josh Roberts as part of Season 10, Episode 26.
Roberts gained tremendous experience in 2025 and was consistently praised by Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley for his work ethic and dedication to being a student of the game.
The Eau Gallie High School product played in every game during his freshman campaign. He recorded 21 tackles, including four tackles for a loss of 11 yards, of which two were credited as sacks. He added one interception and two pass breakups.
Roberts and the Owls are in the midst of “Spring Practice” and will play the 2026 Friday Night Showcase, scheduled for Friday, April 17. The game is presented by Phil Smith Acura/Kia and will be played on Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
