Those who want to escape in a fantasy world of old Europe will want to visit the Florida Renaissance Festival.

The large event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays at Quiet Waters in Deerfield Beach through the end of March and offers opportunities to have fun, enjoy some music and learn about life in Renaissance Europe.
There are more than 100 Artisans selling their product and a huge variety of performers including musicians and . Over 100 Performers to entertain.actors.
Those who come can see the Enchanted Artisan Marketplace where many merchants demonstrate and sell their wares. People can see how blown glass is created and hammered pewter, wooden toys, hand-tooled leather, weaponry, unique pottery, abundant clothing, and a wealth of other riches. There are many performers on twelve unique stages and entertainers all around. Many people dress in Renaissance attire and one can be a pope, prince, knight, pirate, queen, or peasant.

You can meet sword fighters, minstrels, magicians, wenches, and more. All the World’s a Stage the Village of Kimmendale.
People can cheer for Heroic Knights, as they mount their noble steeds and charge with thunderous speed in exciting Jousts, three times a day. One can indulge in a feast of fine foods, from giant turkey legs to soft cotton candy. One can raise a tankard of cold ale or hard cider at our lively pubs, and toast the Royal Court. There is a selection of meads, wines, frozen cocktails, and other non-alcoholic options.

You can challenge yourself with games of chance and skill, from axe throwing and archery to sword fighting. There is the tomato Torture challenge with precision and accuracy or you can show off your basketball skills with Head Toss.

For those looking for a bigger thrill, climb our towering rock wall, take a spin on the dizzying Crow’s Nest, or endure the ferocious barrel ride. Climb aboard the ‘World’s Largest Rocking Horse’ and view the many more rides and games we offer from the treetops! There is So Much to do!
