NEW YORK — Dec. 31, 2025 — Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry, Miami Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb and Houston Texans punter Tommy Townsend are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played in Week 17 (December 25, 27-29).
OFFENSE: RB DERRICK HENRY, BALTIMORE RAVNES
- Henry had a season-high 216 rushing yards and matched his career-high with four rushing touchdowns in Baltimore’s 41-24 win at Green Bay. He surpassed Adrian Peterson (six games) and Pro Football Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson (six) for the most games with at least 200 rushing yards in NFL history.
- This is Henry’s 10th Offensive Player of the Week award and his third with Baltimore. He joins Ray Rice (five-time winner) as the only Ravens running backs to earn the honor three-or-more times.

DEFENSE: LB BRADLEY CHUBB, MIAMI DOLPHINS
- Chubb recorded three tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in Miami’s 20-17 win against Tampa Bay. He was the only player to record at least two sacks and a forced fumble in Week 17.
- This is Chubb’s second-career Defensive Player of the Week award and he becomes the third Dolphins player to earn the honor this season, joining Jordyn Brooks (Weeks 8 and 11) and Rasul Douglas (Week 14). Chubb is the fourth Dolphins linebacker to earn the honor multiple times, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer Zach Thomas (three-time winner), Jordyn Brooks (two) and Bryan Cox (two).

- Chubb has won the third-most Defensive Player of the Week awards among any former North Carolina State player, trailing only Mario Williams (four-time winner) and Adrian Wilson (four).
SPECIAL TEAMS: P TOMMY TOWNSEND, HOUSTON TEXANS
- Townsend had five punts – including four inside the 20, with two inside the 10 – in Houston’s 20-16 win at the Los Angeles Chargers. He was the only player in the AFC to record two punts inside the 10 in Week 17.
- This is Townsend’s fourth Player of the Week award and his first with Houston. He is the third Texans punter to win the award and the first since Shane Lechler (Week 8, 2016).
