The program extends its streak to 556 consecutive weeks ranked in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 poll.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida volleyball team checked in at No. 23 in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Week 5 Division I Top-25 Poll, released Monday afternoon by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Florida’s remaining schedule features five opponents ranked in the top-25, including No. 2 Texas, who received four first-place votes this week and No.3 Kentucky, along with a top-15 showdown against No. 9 Texas A&M. The Gators will also meet two additional top-20 programs in No. 20 Tennessee and No. 21 Missouri.
Florida currently holds a 2-3 record against opponents ranked in the AVCA top-25, highlighted by wins over then-No. 3 Pitt and No. 20 Baylor, while suffering losses against Stanford, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
