FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The 13th-ranked Nova Southeastern Men’s Soccer team fell in Wednesday night’s Sunshine State Conference opener against the defending champs and number one-ranked Lynn Fighting Knights. Theo Oherwall and Andres Morral Rosales scored one goal apiece, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit.

- Lynn got the action started with a strike to the back of the net in the 20th minute
- The Sharks struck back seven minutes later to knot it up at one apiece, thanks to a goal by Oherwall (assisted by Liam Healey)
- Rosales tacked on another goal in the 34th minute to put the Sharks up one.
- The second half was all Lynn, as they scored three goals to ultimately secure the 4-2 SSC victory over NSU.
The Sharks will head on the road Saturday, September 27th, to take on the Eckerd Tritons in another SSC duel. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST.
