BATTLE OF THE UNDEFEATED
The top four teams in the American will face off this weekend as FIU will travel to Boca Raton on Friday to take on Florida Atlantic. On Saturday, Charlotte and South Florida will play in South Florida. All four teams have yet to drop a conference game.
panthers earn early season win
FIU came away with an early conference season win over Missouri State last weekend, 1-0 when Pasquale Capriati scored in the 71st minute to help the Panthers move to 1-0 and hand the Bears their first loss in the American. The Panthers have won three straight matches.
DISHING THEM OUT
Florida Atlantic has been passing the ball well this season and rank eighth in the nation assists per game (3.00), while ranking 13th in the nation in total assists (21).
BULLS STRONG SEASON
Eight matches into the season and the South Florida Bulls have yet to be defeated, owning a 4-0-4 record. The Bulls are one of 21 teams in the nation to have not lost a match this season.
NCAA RPI REPORT
The NCAA released the first edition of the RPI on Monday and three teams rank in the top 45 – FIU leads the way at 38, followed by Florida Atlantic (41) and Charlotte (44).
