BOCA RATON, Fla. – No. 19 Florida Atlantic men’s soccer improved to 4-1 with a 4-0 win over Florida National at the FAU Soccer Stadium on Tuesday morning.

The Owls got off to a fast start. An FNU handball in the box in the eighth minute resulted in a PK goal from Sebastian ZettlMamadou Diarra doubled the lead with his third goal of the season 12 minutes later.

Diarra added another goal in the 19th minute. Oliver Moller-Jensen played Eli Conway into the penalty area. Conway’s shot was saved by the goalkeeper, but Diarra was waiting in the six-yard box to tap home the rebound.

Conway and Moller-Jensen were involved again five minutes into the second half on a goal scored by Ethan Schumaker. Moller-Jensen finished the day with three assists.

The Owls split the goalkeeping duties with Alfred Mikkelsen manning the first 60 minutes and Guilherme Pipolo coming on for the final half-hour. The duo was not required to make a save.

The Owls now look ahead to a showdown with No. 5 NC State in Raleigh on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
