The Oakland Park Library is preparing for an exciting new chapter.
This fall, it will temporarily relocate to the Jaco Pastorius Community Center, where services and programs are expected to begin in October. The library team is packing up and preparing to move into its temporary home at the Jaco Pastorius Community Center at 1098 NE 40th Court.
Weekly Children’s Storytime will continue on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Until further notice, most other programs will pause until the relocation is complete. As books and materials are carefully packed, our team remains committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continued access to library resources. For more information, please call 954-630-4370. The long-term vision is even more exciting. The library will move into a brand-new facility at the Collins Community Center, located at 3900 NE 3rd Avenue. This modern library and community hub is supported by a $2 million FloridaCommerce grant and will bring new opportunities for education and technology.
