Florida had four players in the top 50, with one other being named to the watch list
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators had five total players named to the ILWomen Power 100 Freshman Rankings, Inside Lacrosse announced Wednesday morning.
The Gators were headlined by freshman goalie Maya Soskin, who came in at No. 8 in the rankings. She was joined in the top 50 by midfielder Caroline Hoskins at No. 24, followed by attacker Autumn Blair at No. 41, and midfielder Kennedy Richardson clocking in at No. 43. Defender Emma Sweeney earned a nod on the watch list.
The Power 100 rankings have the top 50 freshman ranked 1-50 and players 51-100 are named to the watch list. Florida is one of 30 schools to have a player in the Power 100 Rankings, and just one of six schools to have three or more players in the top 50.
The Gators are coming off a 2025 campaign that saw them go 20-3 and make their second straight NCAA Final Four appearance after winning the Big 12 conference tournament, marking their 11th consecutive conference tournament championship.
