Pistons Flex Plan Gives Fans Selection of Any 10 Games and 15% Savings on Top Matchups
DETROIT – August 14, 2025 – Today, the Detroit Pistons announced their 2025-26 regular season schedule, which begins on the road against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. ET. Detroit will host the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena in the team’s home opener on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Home game highlights of the 2025-26 schedule include a back-to-back against Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics on Oct. 26 and Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 27. On Nov. 1, the Pistons will travel to Mexico City to host the Dallas Mavericks at Arena CDMX. The Pistons welcome Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks to town on Dec. 6. Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks return to Little Caesars Arena following their 2025 NBA Playoff series against Detroit on Jan. 5 and Feb. 6. The Pistons will host the Boston Celtics on MLK Day on Jan. 19, which is Detroit’s first-time hosting an MLK Day game since 2018. This year’s 313 Day matchup features Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on March 13. The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers make their lone trip to the Motor City on March 20 and March 23, respectively.

Returning this season is the third annual Emirates NBA Cup where each team will play four Group Play games (two home, two road), which will take place from Oct. 31 – Nov. 28. In Group Play, the Pistons will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 14 and the Orlando Magic on Nov. 28 inside Little Caesars Arena. Eight teams will advance out of Group Play to the Knockout Rounds, which will consist of single-elimination games. The Quarterfinals are played in NBA team markets on Tuesday, Dec. 9 and Wednesday, Dec. 10, and the Semifinals and Championship are set for Las Vegas on Dec. 13 and Dec. 16, respectively.
This season’s theme nights include Hoops for Troops, Breast Health Awareness Night in partnership with Henry Ford Health, Holiday Game presented by Kroger, Sports Betting Night presented by BetRivers, Women’s Empowerment Night, and more. The Pistons celebrate the “Season of Giving” presented by Kroger beginning with the Dec. 1 matchup vs. the Atlanta Hawks and continuing through the New Years Day matchup with the Miami Heat. Black History Month will be celebrated during each February home game, including HBCU/NPHC Night on Feb. 5 against Washington. The team will host its annual Kids Day game on Jan. 25 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, 313 Day on March 13, Pride Night on March 26 and Fan Appreciation Day on April 8 presented by Hutch’s Jewelry.
The Pistons are scheduled to be on national television 16 times during the regular season. Detroit will be featured on Peacock six times, including Peacock’s inaugural NBA double-header when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 27. The Pistons will play four times on ESPN and the ESPN App and twice on NBC/Peacock, including the team’s matchup with Boston on MLK Day. Detroit is also scheduled to play four games on Amazon Prime. A complete radio and local television broadcast schedule for Pistons games will be released at a later date.
