This season marks the Owls’ fourth as a member of the American Conference. The slate begins on August 21 with the home opener against Creighton. Non-conference road trips to North Florida (September 4) and Stetson (September 7) lead into the Owls’ first out-of-state visit to NC State in Raleigh on September 13. The Owls will play eight American Conference matches, starting with a trip to Philadelphia to face Temple on September 21. Other league play road contests include American Conference newcomer Missouri State in Springfield, Mo., on October 3, Charlotte on October 17, and USF on October 29. The American Conference home opener will be a highly anticipated rematch of the last two postseason tournaments. The South Florida showdown with FIU is set for September 26. Memphis (October 12), UAB (October 24), and Tulsa (November 2) will also visit Paradise in 2025. Worthen, now entering his ninth season at the helm, will lead an FAU squad that led the American Conference in nearly every offensive category in 2024. Reigning American Conference Offensive Player of the Year Mamadou Diarra is expected to return alongside fellow all-conference selections Sebastian Zettl and Aboubacar Traore.
