USF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL REVEALS AMERICAN CONFERENCE MATCHUPS

Dates, times and broadcast information will be announced later

TAMPA, Fla., July 23, 2025  The American Conference announced Wednesday the full slate of 2025 conference matchups, with the University of South Florida women’s basketball team set to face a competitive mix of league opponents at home and on the road.

USF will host the University of Tulsa, Charlotte and Wichita State University at the Yuengling Center, while traveling to face East Carolina University, the University of Memphis and the University of Alabama at Birmingham in conference play.

This announcement further bolsters an already challenging 2025 schedule for the Bulls, who have home non-conference matchups lined up against national powerhouses Duke (Nov. 20), defending national champion UConn (Dec. 3), and South Carolina (Dec. 18).

Head coach Jose Fernandez, who enters his 26th season leading the program, emphasized the competitive nature of the upcoming slate. “We’ve built one of the most demanding schedules in the country, and this conference lineup will only make us better,” Fernandez said. “We’re going to be tested every night, whether it’s at home in front of our fans or on the road. Our players are embracing that challenge.”

Dates, tip-off times and television designations for all American Athletic Conference matchups will be announced later.
