IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference will be well represented at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, with 23 student-athletes and relay teams advancing through the preliminary rounds held at two regional sites from May 28–31.
South Florida led the conference with eight total qualifiers, including relay teams. Wichita State followed with five individual qualifiers, while Rice and UTSA each advanced three. Tulane will send two competitors, and East Carolina and Memphis will each have one representative.
Eight student-athletes from The American qualified in multiple events. East Carolina’s Kelly Ufodiama will compete in more than one event, as will South Florida’s Jaleel Croal, Alexavier Monfries, Gabriel Moronta, and Abdul-Rasheed Saminu. Wichita State’s Yared Kidane, Jason Parrish, and Josh Parrish also advanced in multiple events.
The NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships are to be held June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
