ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The second-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Tennis team advanced to the NCAA Division II national quarterfinal by defeating the 15th-seeded Slippery Rock on Wednesday afternoon at Sanlando Park.
The Sharks improve to 18-2 in NCAA tournament matches since the 2022 season, winning nine consecutive.

Isabella Ciancaglini and Kristyna Hranacova defeated Nicole Kempton and Alissia Kivi 6-0
Ita Habekovic and Julia Moraes sealed the doubles point for NSU, beating Georgia Lancaster and Dari Sakhanova 6-0.
Kristyna Hranacova, the third-ranked singles player in NCAA Division II, was victorious 6-2, 6-2 over Amaia Balaguer Brau
Amina Sagadiyeva defeated Georgie Lancaster 6-0, 6-0
Julia Moraes completed the victory for the Sharks, beating Dari Sakhanova 6-1, 6-0.

The second-ranked Sharks advance to the national quarterfinal match, where they will take on the winner of the No. 21 Azusa Pacific and No. 22 Nebraska-Kearney at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 22nd.
