ROWING: Miami Wraps up Competition at ACC Championships

CLEMSON, S.C. – The University of Miami rowing team completed competition at the 2025 ACC Championships Saturday afternoon, with the First Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four turning in excellent performances to highlight the day for the Hurricanes.

Competing in the petite finals, Miami had two boats earn top three finishes and the Hurricanes earned 34 total points as a team to conclude the event in 11th place.

The Third Varsity Eight commenced the day, defeating Boston College and Louisville with a time of 6:48.725 to earn a fourth-place finish. 

The Second Varsity Four followed with a stellar performance, as they took second place with a time of 7:28.684, defeating Louisville, Notre Dame, Boston College, and SMU.

Miami’s First Varsity Four clocked a time of 7:30.646 to take fifth place in their race, while Second Varsity Eight also took fifth place in their respective race, finishing with a time of 6:38.464.

The First Varsity Eight closed out the event for Miami with a superb performance, as they finished with a time of 6:22.325 to secure a third-place finish, defeating SMU, Notre Dame, and Boston College.

The end of the ACC Championships marks the end of the season for the Hurricanes, as they will now turn their attention to the 2025-26 campaign.
