BOULDER CITY, NV. – The seventh ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Golf team wrapped up play at the NCAA Division II National Championship on Thursday afternoon at the Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Sharks put together their lowest scoring round of the tournament, finishing the day six-under, totaling 20 birdies, and improving 14 strokes from the second round in Thursday’s competition. NSU (+9/873/295/296/282) closes the NCAA Championship tournament in 10th place. Ariana Carvalho (+2/75/75/68) paced the Sharks in the final round, closing the tournament with a 68 and four-under.

- Ariana Carvalho began her round with a birdie and totaled three across the front nine, in addition to four pars. Following the turn, Carvalho birdied three consecutive holes and followed with four straight pars.Carvalho closed the day four-under, posting the lowest score in the tournament for NSU. Carvalho ended the tournament +2/75/75/68
- Following a bogey on the opening hole, Haruka Muta recorded five straight pars and totaled seven across the front nine. Muta shot a bogey-free back nine, tallying three birdies, and finished the round one-under. Overall, Muta ended the championship +4/75/74/71
- Rosanna Halls shot a bogey-free front-nine, totaling four birdies, and shooting a 32. On the back-nine, Halls recorded seven pars – including five consecutive – ending the round one-under. Halls closed the tournament +6/73/78/71
- Maria Torres-Lobato, the highest finisher for NSU, recorded a pair of birdies across the front-nine. Following the turn, Lobato shot a bogey-free back-nine, adding one additional birdie, before closing with seven consecutive pars. Lobato ends the NCAA National Championship with a +1/74/71/72 scoring line.
- Lua Pousa Dacasa recorded three birdies across the front-nine and totaled five for the round. Dacasa also added seven pars in the final round, closing the tournament at +6/73/76/73
