USF WBB: USF Women’s Basketball Inks Kirsten Lewis-Williams From Transfer Portal

TAMPA, Fla. – April 22, 2025 – South Florida women’s basketball Head Coach Jose Fernandez announced the signing of incoming transfer Kirsten Lewis-Williams.

KIRSTEN LEWIS-WILLIAMS HIGHLIGHTS

  • WNIT Champion with Buffalo (2024-25); tallied 18 points, six rebounds, and 5 assists in the title game vs. Troy.
  • Named Second-Team All-MAC (2024-25)
  • Named MAC Freshman of the Year, All-MAC Honorable Mention, and All-Freshman Team (2023-24)
  • Put up a Career-high 29 points and 10 rebounds vs. Miami (OH) (Feb. 22)
  • Recorded 3 double-doubles performances during the 2024-25 season,
  • Averaged 13.6 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2.3 SPG during sophomore campaign.
  • Logged 27 games in double figures in 2024-25; 23 in 2023-24.

Coach Fernandez on Lewis-Williams: “Kirsten (Lewis-Williams) will bring a winning mentality to our program, having helped Buffalo capture a WNIT championship this past season. She’s a downhill player and a strong defender who will make an immediate impact on both ends of the floor for us.”
