IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors.
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
NaShawn Tyson, So. – Florida Atlantic
Tyson helped guide the Owls to a team victor at the Old Corckscrew Invitational, placing ahead of No. 50 FGCU in the tournament. The sophomore finished in second place overall, shooting 3-under 213 (71-71-71) over the 54-hole course. He placed ahead of the 83rd ranked player in the Clippd rankings.
