BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The Tulsa Hurricane won the 2025 American Women’s Golf Championship on Wednesday, leading after every round to capture the title. Using a 15-stroke lead heading into the final round, the Golden Hurricane shot a 5–under 283 in round three to complete a 54-hole total of 12-under 852. It marks the second American Women’s Golf Championship for Tulsa, as they become the fourth program to win multiple conference titles, joining Houston (3), UCF (2), and SMU (2).
The average score over the final day was 74.25 over 55 rounds. Over the three-day, 54-hole course, teams held an average score of 74.99.
The Golden Hurricane were led by individual champion Romaine Massery, who finished with a three-round score of 7-under 209. All three scorers for Tulsa finished in the top ten, as Lovisa Gunnar earned third place, shooting 3-under 213, Jennifer Roller finished in 6th place with 2-under 214 and Sydney Seigal finished at par with a score of 216.
Charlotte was led by Jette Schulze, the individual runner-up who finished at 6-under 210. Freshman Pinky Chaisilprungruang finished tied for third place with a score of 3-under 213 over the three days.
Florida Atlantic improved three spots in the final round to finish in third place. Charlotte Perkins was the leader for the Owls, finishing tied for third place overall with a score of 3-under 213 for the tournament.
East Carolina finished in fourth place as a team, shooting 14-over 878. The Owls were led by Zoe Allaux, who finished in 13th place with a score of 4-over 220.
Rounding out the top 5 teams was North Texas, shooting 16-over 880 for the tournament. Mason Lewis finished in 9th place, shooting 1-over 217 over the three days.
Other Top 10 finishers in the championship were Wichita State’s Kate Tilma, who finished in 7th place with a score of 216 and Florida Atlantic’s Nancy Cox, who finished tied for 9th place with a score of 2-over 217.
